UAE

The United Arabs Emirates (UAE) is a country situated in the Middle East, in the western part of Asia. The country borders Saudi Arabia to the west and south, Oman to the east and north east, and has maritime international borders of the Persian Gulf with Iran and Qatar.

UAE was brought into existence in December 1971 after it gained independence from Great Britain. Prior to 1971, the UAE was known as “the Trucial States”. The country is now a federation of 7 states namely:

Municipalities
